I’ve been doing my clients a disservice (if that’s you, I sincerely apologize).
My own imposter syndrome has stood in the way of fully realizing that just because I don’t have a formal education in marketing, I do have a lot of information about marketing that can be valuable to my clients (because it turns out they’re not really looking anywhere else for marketing advice).
To be fair, at least 7 months ago when I worked with Mallory Musante on my own marketing strategy, I knew that I wanted to be working with clients who needed more than “just a website”.
And for many of my clients, I’ve built out additional systems after the original launch that help them take their marketing up a notch.
What I’ve been calling that in the past has been “client experience”; I told clients I could help them build an entire client experience using their website as a hub that had spokes running out to all the important tools for running a business.
And that makes sense — my background is in luxury client experience, it’s a realm I felt very comfortable in, and I thought I could make it translate to my work as a web designer.
Additionally, in the past I didn’t sell it all together in one go. Instead of acting like the expert that I am, putting on my marketing strategy hat, and designing a complete package, I made the false assumption that my clients had “marketing” under control, and I’d just build their website, maintain it, and my job was done.
Well, all of that is about to change.
Check out my latest video to learn more about why a website alone isn’t enough for service based entrepreneurs, and how I’m revamping my offers to put together a package (called the Impactful Entrepreneur Experience) that’s creates an entire marketing machine that will work as your best 24/7 employee.
