Recently I let you all in on a little secret. I don’t set goals. I don’t set goals because I don’t feel like they serve me (but no shade if you’re out there setting and slaying goals! They’re just not my thing.)
Instead of setting goals, I like to set a theme. Something I can revolve around, aspire to, but not take too seriously. Because when I take myself too seriously I tend to lose out on the best creative tangents that may be even better than the original idea.
For 2024, my theme is “education” and when I chose that as my theme, my intention was that *I* would become more educated. I’d learn more and better design techniques (already underway), I’d dig in on SEO (also working on it), and I’d hone my copywriting skills (check, check check). I’m already SUPER freaking dedicated to this 2024 theme and we still have 2 weeks left of 2023.
See what I mean about themes really working for me?
What I didn’t realize when I set my 2024 theme is that I’d also be educating you (and you, and you, and you) about the best ways to build kickass websites with Elementor.
I’m tired of the griping about Elementor. I use it successfully on every.single.project that I work on. Why? Because it works for me, and it works for my clients.
So I decided to do something about it, starting with even more Elementor tutorials on my Youtube channel, as well as performance-enhanced templates and an upcoming course that goes over my entire website building process FROM START TO FINISH using WordPress and Elementor Pro. Because I’m successfully using Elementor every day, and I don’t see any reason why other performance-minded designers can’t do the same using my unique system that does everything with performance in mind.
If you can’t wait like, another minute, to start learning more about Elementor, I’m going to be creating tutorials as I work through my own new websites that accompany this project so that you can see first-hand how I make my websites shine on the web without being bogged down by the bloat everyone is always talking about.
Check out my latest video below, where I build the new header and make it mobile responsive on my new Elementor mentorship website.
