The Steps for How to Create a QR Code for Free with Canva

Creating a QR code for free with Canva is a simple process that you can follow along with easily.

The first step to create a QR code for free with Canva is to open up a new design. I usually use an “Instagram Post” because it’s a decent pixel size and it’s a square just like the QR code will be.

The second step to create a QR code for free with Canva is to find the ‘QR Code’ app on the left-hand-side menu. You may need to scroll down to “More…” in order to find and open the QR code feature.

The third step to create a QR code for free with Canva is to enter your URL in the bar that pops up after applying the QR code app in the QR code creator Canva. Be very careful here and double check your work. It would be a shame to create this QR code for free with Canva and accidentally send people who scan the code to the wrong website because you didn’t type it in right.

And that’s all! Once you double check your work and hit enter you’ll be able to download the QR code and put it on any materials that you find helpful for your marketing efforts, including business cards and other print materials.
