Space Cow Bakery
Carly came to me frustrated about trying to create her website herself. She felt incredibly intimidated by WordPress, didn't understand how to take the next step, and was at a point where just thinking about sitting down to complete her site was making her palms sweat.
Goals
↠ Eliminate the intimidation factor by taking the website build off Carly's hands
↠ Create a WordPress website that's easy to navigate and maintain
↠ Design a strategic site that's ready to grow as Carly's business does
"A website intimidated me to the point where I dreaded even just thinking about learning how to build it on my own."
The Process
Carly had mistakenly signed up for WordPress.com because she didn't understand the nuances of .com vs .org. The first thing we did was get her a refund on her WordPress.com plan and sign her up for a hosting account with Siteground.
While Carly was getting her hosting created I used her new logo as inspiration to create the rest of her brand visuals. We were going to funky and fun, and out-of-the-box, so I used bright colors and a 70's inspired font to bring personality to Carly's new business.
With the technical and visual details in place, I built Carly's new site in one day on the WordPress platform, using the Astra Pro theme and Elementor Pro page builder.

Delivery and Launch
Carly's business is new, so she wasn't ready to launch right away, and wanted to add some more functionality prior to getting her site out there on the internet. We strategized a plan to make sure her site would cover everything she needed to do in certain phases.
